Another Success!

Glory to GOD Heavy on the Not Guilty, two day trial, jury only took an hour to deliberate. Four DWI trials within 2 months, 2 Not Guilty verdicts and 2 hung juries that refused to convict. Most would call that undefeated, I’ll just call it born to do this. Passion ain’t worth ish without purpose, and I thank my LORD and Savior JESUS CHRIST for giving me both All I can do is keep working, ready to move on to the next case, and do it all over again.

‘Over 15 years ago I had a case put on me that I did not deserve. Subsequently I ended up hiring an attorney that didn’t advise me on the ramifications of taking the plea I accepted. Unbeknownst to me, I had something on my record that was going to stick to me the rest of my life. Ironically, this bad experience is what made me passionate about making sure this never happened to anyone again on my watch, so i decided to chase a dream of becoming an attorney. Throughout my journey I had countless people, even my own attorneys, tell me if never be an attorney, let alone even be accepted into law school. Well by the grace of JESUS CHRIST I was able to get accepted into law school, and pass the Texas Bar exam without any complications. But don’t shout yet though. Although I made it through law school that charge was keeping me from achieving other aspirations that I have had for a very long time. Well I’d like to say that last week I filed a motion to get my case reopened, and won, after over 15 years. As of today I just got my own case dismissed, and soon it will be expunged off my record. GOD is so amazing, don’t ever think HE can’t turn it around for you, whatever it may be. How the hell did a little kid off Matney Circle get screwed by the system, use that very situation as motivation to go be an attorney, and then turned around and used those skills to beat the very case that got him there in the first place????!!!!! Ironically I never would have been an attorney unless I caught the case… GODs Providence is amazingly unexplainable. No human in this world has the last say so. Sometimes you have to know the difference between a road block and a speed bump; people ain’t nothing but speed bumps. Conceptualize your dreams and aspirations and go for that ish!
